Welcome To Our FASA Family!
Family is one of our most important core values at the Filipino American Student Association at William & Mary. We believe that our club is only as strong as our friendships, which is why we hold an annual Kuya/Ate Month in the Fall Semester to pair new members with veteran members.

'Kuya' or 'Ate' refer to how one might address an older male or female relative in Tagalog. As a Kuya or Ate, members can serve as 'bigs' for newer folks, 'littles.' For an entire month, FASA bigs shows love, support, and guidance toward their littles, all while keeping their identities a secret, until their family lines are revealed at our culminating Halo-Halloween event, Revelation. The Internal Committee plan game nights, movie nights, trivia nights, walks through Colonial Williamsburg, and other fun events to create lifelong friendships.

The Big/Little Program has been an essential part of FASA for generations, and we believe that alumni should be remembered for all that they have contributed to Filipino American culture at W&M. Explore the seven families and their lines below. Enjoy, and Happy 30th Anniversary, FASA!
